Decoupled Drupal Summit

The Decoupled Drupal Summit delves into all things related to using API-first initiatives to expose Drupal content. The summit gives developers the opportunity to share, learn and discuss their experiences building decoupled projects.

The API-first initiative has helped mature options for exposing Drupal content, from core’s REST module to the JSON API and GraphQL contrib modules. In the last year, the community has also created several decoupled distributions like Contenta, Reservoir and Decoupled Lightning, lowering the barriers and helping to establish best practices.

With exploration underway to move a modern JavaScript framework into Drupal core and migrate the editorial experience onto it, there has never been a better time to collaborate with others and share our experiences building decoupled projects.
